Flagged Events can optionally be configured to shut down when the user tries to access it.

If you have set up Account suspensions, once their account reaches a defined limit, their access to the network will be denied for a period that the network administrator has set. Re-instatement will be automatic to minimize administration time.

NB: Entries in Flagged Events are an 'exact' match & also a 'partial' match, so that events entered can be an exact match to those recorded by A.M.S. or a partial match. This is usefull when seeking to eliminate certain areas of access. e.g. if you wanted to block the downloading of mobile telephone ringtones, enter in 'ringtone'.

As most Network Administrator's requirements vary so widely, we supply A.M.S. with blank lists for Filters.

A.M.S. is controlled by the Network Administrator maintaining two lists. The second List is the Flagged Events List:- Flagged Events - events that you do not want your users to perform. Weighting or 'penalties' can optionally be set for each flagged event. This allows the network administrator to vary the 'seriousness' of the breach when automatic account suspension is used. The Flagged Events List is 'read' by A.M.S. Client everytime it starts (i.e. a User logons on) or more often if this option is set in the Client Configuration.
